Just In: Brand new Bill Nash T-57. 2018 12 string. Super resonant, very lightweight ash body. This is a great Nash 12 string electric guitar. Shimmering and very full sound with the Lollars. VERY easy to play. Great action. This is the only 12 string electric I’ve ever wanted to keep playing once I started. The String spacing is finally perfect on a 12, making fretting the notes easy and natural. Nash Guitars just keep getting better and better. Brand new 2018 Bill Nash light aging T-57 12 string. Beautiful frets, Lollars at the bridge and neck. Very powerful, very full and smooth. Perfect set-up, plays like a dream, which is amazing in my experience for 12 strings, which are usually a bear to play and either too wide or two narrow a neck. This neck is perfect for a 12-string. As Bill Nash said: “Our goal was to make a 12 string for the electric guitarist, not an electrified 12 string for the former acoustic guitarist. It is a huge improvement of the “hothouse flower” issue on most 12 string electrics.” And they certainly succeeded.

This guitar has great resonance and you forget what great resonance is on an electric when you haven’t heard it in awhile. You will never find a guitar this resonant off the wall at Guitar Center, or through the mail from Musician’s Friend. A combination of the wood that Nash hand-selects, the very thin coat of nitrocellulose lacquer, a properly seated neck pocket, and the appropriate density of the woods used. Combine this with the Lollars and you really have a match made in heaven. Finally a guitar that sounds and plays like the originals did in the early 60’s. This is a guitar that can last you a lifetime, and just get better over the years.
